Unknown.
A recently split species whose distribution requires clarification.

Very similar to Eucosma hohenwartiana and E.parvulana.
Distinguished by its large size and paler colour, found in areas where Greater Knapweed is known to occur.

Formerly regarded as a large, fulvous (dull brown) form of Eucosma hohenwartiana.

Confirmed record at Cranwich Camp in June 2017 (Chris Lewis, 29/06/2017) - First for Norfolk?

Can be determined by examination of the female genitalia. There are no consistent differences between species in the male genitalia.
