Norfolk status
Rare migrant.
First recorded in Devon in 1990.

First Norfolk record - Walsey Hills NOA Reserve, near Cley on the North Norfolk coast in 2006 (M. Ottley, 29/07/06).
It was next recorded in 2012 at Cromer (R. Lee, 11/08/12), Burgh St Peter Marshes (B. Jones, 07/09/12) and A first for VC28 at Upwell (J. Wheeler, 18/08/12). Several records in the following years.

Established breeding populations in Suffolk during the 2010s and likely to also now be resident in Norfolk.

Recorded in 34 (46%) of 74 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 2006.
Last Recorded in 2024.
