Norfolk status
Rare immigrant from mainland Europe, recorded predominantly on the south coast of the UK.

Identified by its pale coloration and terminal band 'necklace' of black and metallic spots.

No evidence of breeding in the UK with migrant records mostly in early spring and late autumn. Possibly also imported with grain products.

New for Norfolk in 2022 at lower Hellesdon (L.King, 31/08/22)
