Norfolk status
The first records of this species in Britain were at Tresco, Isles of Scilly in 2001, Devon in 2007 and Hampshire in 2010.

Thought to be introduced through accidental importation of plants from Asia. No evidence of breeding in the UK.

Recorded in Norfolk at Bawdeswell in 2014 (D. Appleton, 10/06/14) and Costessey in 2016 (M. Casey, 16/08/16) Both possibly originating from nearby garden centres!

Verification Grade Comment: Scarce immigrant/adventive/few records

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.
