Norfolk status
Rare.
Distinctive species formerly almost entirely confined to the county of Kent.

Found on grassland and chalk habitat where the food plant Marjoram occurs.

The extreme heat of July 2022 may have caused dispersal away from the usual Kent locations.

New for Norfolk in July 2022 - Syderstone RIS (A. Riley, 20/07 & 21/07/2022) and North Creake (A. Culshaw, 21/07/2022)

Also new to Suffolk x2 in July 2022.

Note: Genus name change from Moitrelia to Uncinus in 4th ABH Checklist Update Jan 2021.

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.
