Rare migrant.

Unmistakable rare immigrant species from southern Europe, appearing occasionally in southern England where first recorded at Bradwell-on-Sea, Essex in October 1989.

Recent records from Suffolk, where first recorded in 2018.

New for Norfolk in 2020 at Northacre (L. Lawes, 10/08/2020) also at Scolt Head (N. Lawton, 11/08/2020)
Other records in 2020 at Lingwood (M. Smith, 12/08/2020 and 13/08/2020) Roughton (R. Lee, 12/08/2020) and Rockland St Peter (J. Dothie, 18/08/2020)
