Norfolk status
Rare.
Rather plain looking moth, with two faint darker cross bands and distinctive long labial palps.
Dry stony areas, grass banks and quarries.
Adults can be disturbed during the day and fly from dusk onwards.

Modern day records from Cranwich heath in 1988 and not recorded again until 2012 when a specimen was taken at Hindringham Hall (M. Bellingham, 29/06/12) Recent record at Weeting Heath (J. Symonds, 15/06/19)
