Norfolk status
Hillsides and waste ground generally on calcareous soils. Well established at a single west Norfolk site.

In the spring, look for wilted stems of Marjoram betraying presence of larva.

Originally thought a new county record in 2001, however an older Norfolk record exists from 1992 at the same site.

Recently discovered in the Ken Durrant Collection at Norwich Castle Museum from a second site - Beeston Common in 2001. This is an interesting record as the foodplant does not occur on the site! It could occur in adjacent gardens where Marjoam grows, a wind-blown vagrant or maybe a case of mislabelling?

Recorded in 3 (4%) of 69 10k Squares.
First Recorded in 1992.
Last Recorded in 2016.
