Rare.

Recoded at Costessey in 2001 (A. Gardiner, 06/07/01) only the sixth British record.

First recorded at Chatteris, Cambs in 1877. Distribution poorly known owing to confusion in the past with other related species. Only reliably recorded a handful of times in Britain.
Apparent recent records from Essex and Hunts.

New for VC28 in 2022 at Litcham (K. Kerr, 17/06/22)
