Norfolk status Very similar to C. alchimiella, shorter and less clearly defined yellow blotch on the forewing. Only reliably separated by dissection.

Leaf-mine: May - July, September - October. Short gallery becoming a blotch. Later in up to three cones at the edge of the leaf. Note: You cannot separate these from C.alchimiella unless you examine the pupa or breed out.
