Norfolk status
Very rare in Britain, only known from a few central English counties.

Very similar to variegated forms of C. elongella and C. betulicola.

Up until recently it was thought unlikely to occur in Norfolk, however, recently recorded in Suffolk on several occasions in 2013 and 2014 (males and females).

Listed by Barrett in 1874 at Merton.

Any possible specimens must be retained.

Mine: Moth needs to be reared and, in some cases, possibly dissected.
