Norfolk status
Widespread on heaths and open woodland.
Adults usually grey in colour with white tips of the apictal cilia.

Adults of all Paronix species are very similar and determination requires genital dissection or rearing of larvae.

Leaf-mine: June, September-October
Phyllonorycter-like mine Later in one or more successive leaf cones.
