Scattered records in the past. Last recorded in Cambs in 1949 until 1982 when rediscovered to be well established in South Lopham area of Norfolk.
Two adults collected by day, resting on Oak tree trunks, at Syderstone Common (VC28) in April 2014. (D. Appleton, 24/04/14). Several more sightings in spring 2014. Three new site records in 2016.
Leaf-mine: similar but slightly larger than P. heegeriella
(=saportella)

Mine: Moth needs to be reared and, in some cases, possibly dissected.
