Rare in the UK (proposed as a future Red Data Book species)

Discovered in 1977 in Gloucestershire.

The larvae feed on aspen (Populus tremula), producing a blotch mine in June and again from August to October.

New for Norfolk in 2020, leaf mine found at Downham Market (R. Edmunds, 19/08/2020)
