Norfolk status
Widespread.
One of three very similar species of Phyllocnistis.
Adults overwinter sometimes in haystacks.

An oval dark patch and dark shading centrally in the wing and base of the dorsum can help identification.

Leaf-mine: June, August.
A 'snail-trail'-like mine!
