Norfolk status
Lepidopterous pest of Citrus trees in Europe. Infested Citrus trees are normally intercepted at the port of entry to the UK.

Mines have been detected by the Plant Health and Seed Inspectorate (PHSE) on many occasions in England and Wales, apparently first recorded in England on Citrus hystrix leaves imported from Thailand in 1991.

Added to the British list after moths were bred through from mines found on lemon trees at a garden centre in Burford, Oxfordshire on the 7th October 2012.

New for Norfolk in 2016 when moths were bred from mines found on lemon plants at a garden centre in Rollesby (S. Wright, 14/09/2016)
Tenanted mines also found at Bressingham garden centre in 2016 (B. Heckford, S. Beavan, 02/10/16)

Retained Specimen / Photograph will be Required.
