Norfolk status
Rare, uncertain.
Day-flying. Similar to P. sehestediana, subtle differences separate the two species and include the area of white dusting, which extends only half way across the forewing, and white spots on forewing on average larger and more rounded. Also shows no pale fascia beyond the post-median line of silvery spots in P. myllerana.

Old records are uncertain as confusion with previous species (P. sehestediana), species split in 1936.

Confirmed specimen from a colony at Repps-with-Bastwick and Hoveton in 2013 (S. Wright)
