Rare, uncertain.
Locally recorded in woodland with Larch plantations throughout much of the British Isles. One of the more widespread and common Argyresthia.

Originally named Argyresthia atmoriella after the local King's Lynn Lepidopterist E.A. Atmore, who discovered it at Lynn in 1893. (Norfolk. Morley/Dutt)
