Flies in afternoon sunshine and comes to light.
One of several similar very small but brightly-coloured moths.

Characteristic 'head-down' resting posture with all members of this genus.

Leaf-mine: Larva mines young shoots and catkins of Silver and Downy Birch, and Alder.
