Norfolk status Scarce. Very small, pale looking Nepticulid, with grey-white ground colour with dark-tipped scales. Yellow-orange head and white eyecaps.
Specimen netted on Broom near Lynford Water in 2013. (S. Wright, 27/07/13).
Larvae mine in bark of Broom. Autumn over winter - March and early May.Verification Grade Comment: Egg position essential to distinguish from Leucoptera spartifoliella  | Mine: Either the leaf or a good photograph required | |
