Norfolk status
Adult moth rarely seen.
Margins of woods, hedgerows containing elm saplings.

Leaf-mine: Larva produce a distinctive larval case in its later stages with a noticeably serrated upper edge. Case similar to Coleophora badiipennella but much larger (9-11.5mm)
