Widespread.
Spring, day-flying woodland species.
Metallic golden wings, speckled with purplish or blue tiny spots. Can be attracted to light at night.

Leaf-mine: Blotch mine with long spaghetti like frass. The mine can be confused with that of the beetle Orchestes pilosus
