Norfolk status One of the four similar metallic bronzy green Coleophora species. Grassy places where foodplant grows. Flies in sunshine, mainly before noon. Leaf-mine: July - September (then overwintering)
Antennae dark with a white tip, not ringed, the base is clothed with projecting bronze scales.
The species was only separated from C. frischella in 1976.
