Norfolk status
Scarce, Uncertain.

Can be identifiable as an adult, having whitish forewings speckled with dark grey and usually an obvious blackish spot.

Spends two years as a larva, the first one-and-a-half years in a small pistol-case, and in the second spring building a long straight case.

Norfolk record of adult from East Winch Common in 1992 (D. Hipperson).
Cases found at Hockwold in May 2013 (T. Prichard) and Weeting in June 2013 (I. Barton)
Adult moth at Welney in 2015 (T. Inskipp)
