Norfolk status
Local.
Can be identifiable as an adult without dissection, having whitish forewings speckled with dark grey and usually an obvious blackish spot.

Spends two years as a larva, the first one-and-a-half years in a small pistol-case, and in the second spring building a long straight case.

First Norfolk record of adult from East Winch Common in 1992 (D. Hipperson).
Recorded more frequently in recent years, especially in the Brecks.
