Downland, grassy slopes, especially near the sea.
Larva living and feeding in a movable case.


Bred ex larval cases found at Weeting Heath in 2013 (I. Barton, 10/06/13) and adult netted at Cranwich Heath.

First Norfolk record of a male taken at East Wretham in mid June 1974 (R.W.J. Uffen).
