Norfolk status Extinct in the British Isles. Recorded throughout western Europe.
One of a new complex of three species. E. regificella (593), E. geminatella (593a) and E. tengstromi (593b) (see prev species).
The only British specimens of E. geminatella were taken by Lord Walsingham at Merton, Norfolk in the latter half of the 19th century. Walsingham leg. & Coll. (BMNH)
