Norfolk status
Local in woodland throughout much of southern Britain.

New to Norfolk in 2015 at Overstrand. (G. Bond, 30/06/15, Gen. Det. (m) J. Clifton)

Very similar to A. flavifrontella and adults can only be reliably identified by dissection.


Larvae feed on Bilberry, living within a movable case.
