Norfolk status Scarce. Occurs mainly around the southern English counties on open grassy areas, usually on chalk or limestone, especially near the coast.
Buff or pinkish ground colour, with a broad brown streak and dots to the forewing are diagnostic.
Recorded from the Brecks on two occasions in 1990. Recent record of an adult found by torchlight at Foulden Common, March 2014 (N. Sherman, 29/03/14)
