Rare.
Only one modern-day confirmed record at Mundford in 2019 (G. Geen, 16/07/19)
Old Norfolk record listed from Kings Lynn in 1874 (Barrett).

A well named moth describing the unicoloured fuscous forewing. May be confused with Monochroa tenebrella.

Note: Jan 2020 name change from Eulamprotes to Oxypteryx.
