Rare fenland species.
Originally described and reared from the Cambridgeshire fens. Meyrick (1895) who included Norfolk in its distribution.
Listed by C. Barrett in 1874 as at Ranworth on Lythrum salicaria (Purple-loosestrife)

Considered to be extinct.

Unknown VC28 map reference possibly should be VC27? [MBGBI vol4.2 p99]
