Scarce.
Woodland, heathland, scrub and fens.

There are a number of rather similar species, please retain any specimens for identification.

Confirmed first modern-day records from three sites recorded in the same year.
Mundford in May 2018, Adult emerged, bred from larva on Goat Willow. (G. Geen, 17/05/18) Male at Titchwell in June 2018 (R. Ward, 05/06/18, Gen Det. J Hodgkinson) and a female confirmed at Crostwight Common in June 2018 (Mick A'Court, 18/06/18)
