Scarce.
Widespread, and often common, on saltings and hard-rock coasts of Britain.

Single modern-day record from Winterton Dunes in 1993 (R. Heppenstall).

Unspecified pre 1900 Norfolk records (C. Barrett) noted as "Common along the coast".

Very alike other congeners in this group, positive identification depends on examination of genitalia.
