Most saltmarsh inhabiting Scrobipalpa species S. salicorniae, S. obsoletella, S. instabilella, S. samadensis, S. suaedella are extremely similar and cannot be identified without genitalia dissection.
Dissected or female antennal differences observed to confirm any records.
