Caryocolum tricolorella
Three-colour Groundling

Norfolk status
As the scientific names implies, it displays a mixture of three basic colour patters on the wings.
Superficially similar to other Caryocolum species, the blackish triangular mark near the base of the costa is generally diagnostic. Scrobipalpa costella has a similar costal mark.

Recent records from the Broads (1989) and Hindolveston (2010)
