Norfolk status Migrant. Until recently, only a handful of UK records from the south and south-west, mostly in May and June.
The adult moth is rather distinctive, and does not have any real confusion species in Britain. (A. captivella is similar, tends to have a whiter head, and stripe across wings is narrower with parallel edges. Both species can be variable, so caution advised)
Unusual influx throughout the UK in December 2015.
