In dry areas - waste ground, dry ditches.

(=Subdivisella) Recorded from Merton, Norfolk, where a series was taken in Sept. 1894. All the specimens were in the Walsingham Collection, where they were found by J. D. Bradley in 1951. (Ent. Rec. 1951; Ent. Gaz. 1951)

New VC27 record in 2012 when a specimen was found inside a wooden shed at How Hill NNR (P. Heath. 16/03/2012. det. J. Clifton)
First modern-day VC28 record at Dersingham in 2014 (R. Jones 30/03/14)
