Norfolk status Rare. A pre 1900 record listed by Barrett in 1874 at Norwich, noted as "Scarce", and a confusing record from 1881 in the King's Lynn area.
Local in old woodland, with recent records from Suffolk, restricted to southern part of county.
First modern day Norfolk record taken in 2012 at Melton Constable. A specimen settled on a kitchen window in a garden with plenty of bluebells. (D. Longden, 23/05/12)
