P. manniana is slightly smaller than P. udana, and usually shows a blackish median fascia (bar) going all the way across the forewing (dorsum to costa). Plus brown reticulate (net-like) markings at the wing tips.
P. udana has only been recorded from the Norfolk Broads.
Verification Grade Comment: National Grade 4 - If recorded in the Broads, treat as Grade 4 to seperate from P. udana.
