Norfolk status Only ever recorded from Norfolk in the British Isles and has not been seen since about 1900, but may still exist!?
First recorded in 1881 from the King’s Lynn/Dersingham bog area on boggy heaths where Myrica gale is found. Dozens of larvae were collected and adults netted freely flying about Myrica gale in the early evening (Atmore, 1889).
