Local.

This species was formerly identified as Antispila treitschkiella until a paper by van Nieukerken et al (2018) showed that it was in fact Antispila petryi that fed on Dogwood (Cornus sanguinea)
All our Norfolk Antispila treitschkiella records have now been reassigned to this species.

Antispila treitschkiella has only been found in the UK in London (2016). It feeds on Cornelian Cherry (Cornus mas)

Forewing costal spot usually triangular.
Best distinguished by male genitalia, larva and hostplant.

Leaf-mine: Aug - Oct.
Short gallery leading to blotch, larva cutting an oval case.
