Norfolk status Scarce. Frequenting particularly plantations of mature spruce, the moth flies in the afternoon sunshine, usually rather high.

Following several records from across the UK in 2016, we had the first modern-day record at Mundford VC28. Adults emerging in May from Norway Spruce cones collected earlier in March. (G. Geen, 02/05/16)
