Widespread.
Narrow bronzy forewings with broad silvery fascia, and purplish tinge. Very similar to S. hybnerella

Leaf-mine: June - Aug.
Slender gallery often following leaf margin, broadening abruptly with hairpin bends.

First Recorded in 1970.
